Patchwork Card

Continuing on with the sewing theme I started with my Haberdashery Card, I made this card which I've termed "Patchwork Card". I've taken some scraps of Raspberry Tart paper and punched out squares with my 1 & 1/4 inch punch. Then I stuck them down (3 x 3) onto some Whisper White. Then I used my new Spellbinders Nestabilities Labels 4 with my CuttleBug to give the shape shown above. I created a larger mat from Kiwi Kiss card stock.

I put it all together with the flower from the Pretties Kit, the Red Riding Hood designer button (threaded with a narrow slither of Kiwi Kiss card stock) and the White Taffeta Ribbon but it still need something extra. So I put the Rose Red card base through the CuttleBug with an embossing folder. That seemed to make all the difference.

I thought about a greeting but I like the symmetry of the card as it is so all the words for this card will be inside.

Thanks for looking,

Love from Crafty Kim

Kim this card is so v v magical and clever with the papers and the nesties. The C'bug background adds so much. Hope is well with you.
